We make hand-rolled truffles with Belgian chocolate, locally sourced hormone-free dairy, and an array of fruits, nuts, spices and other tasty all-natural things. Hand-rolled truffles are unique because of their soft, creamy texture and especially rich flavor. We also make hot chocolate mix, and sometimes we make other chocolaty things.
Pete Steffy learned the ways of chocolate from a chocolatier named Iván Arce while living in the small city of San Cristóbal de las Casas in the southern highlands of Mexico, the original home of chocolate as we know it. He brought what he learned back to Detroit, where he has worked on developing recipes for a variety of both classic and unique flavors. He has continued his studies in chocolate at the Schoolcraft College Culinary School, and through reading, experimenting and eating copious amounts of chocolate from across the Americas and Europe.
